Junior Analyst

Summit Ridge Group, LLC is a growing NYC-based boutique financial valuation firm seeking a highly skilled and motivated junior analyst

Job Description:

Initial project involves tracking and reconciling expenses for a large client project. The successful candidate will also be expected to support two senior valuation professionals in all aspects of business. Tasks will range from administrative support, maintaining client and industry data, to financial modeling and report writing. Opportunity for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Review and organize multipage documents provided by client in a manner that makes updating and retrieving documents easier; track dollar value of invoices submitted and payments received by client in a manner that is accurate and verifiable
• Industry research and analysis
• Maintain and update financial models
• Update report deliverables

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree with 0-2 years of experience working in a professional services office environment
• Very good knowledge of MS Office including Excel
• Knowledge of basic accounting and financial modeling
• Background or interest in telecom, media and satellite preferred
• Good organization skills
• Attention to detail
• Intellectual curiosity
• Strong communications skills
• Project management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and within short time constraints
• Ability to plan ahead and anticipate potential problems upon first evidence
• Must be able to listen and interpret business requirements, set internal expectations, and meet those expectations
