Business Valuation and Appraisal

Deep Valuation Experience

Summit Ridge Group has deep experience conducting complex business appraisal and business valuation assignments. Our experience includes years of experience as a top-ranked Wall Street research analyst, investment banking experience as well as our ongoing consulting work.

In addition to our experience, we also hold top credentials in business valuation. J. Armand Musey holds an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, a JD from Northwestern’s School of Law (admitted to the New York State Bar) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Additionally, he has completed the business valuation curriculum of the American Society of Appraisers as well as its advanced curriculum in intangible asset valuation. He also passed the national exam on the Uniform Standards for Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).

The combination of our valuation experience and our extensive training allows us to efficiently perform accurate independent valuations that withstand scrutiny in court or before tax authorities.

Specializing in the Communications Sector

Summit Ridge Group specializes in the communications sector. Our focused approach means that we understand the critical industry and market issues facing a client’s sector before starting an assignment. We can quickly dig into a client’s specific challenge(s). As a result of our industry experience, our analyses are more reliable and our turn-around times faster, with fewer distracting questions and data requests for the client’s management team. We are far less likely to be “blindsided” by an industry or technical issue than a generalist valuation firm.

Produces Value-Added Appraisals

Our deep experience and sector knowledge produce valuations that go well beyond merely satisfying our clients’ reporting or governance needs. Our valuation practice if focused on situations where our reports shed light on the value drivers and/or strategic issues of the subject company. Management and/or investors may be able to use this analysis during future initiatives to enhance value or when considering strategic changes.
